Boone County government has recently encouraged the public to become more involved in local government meetings. Below is a roundup of meetings open to the public for the week of July 11 to July 15.
Tuesday, July 12:
Boone County Fiscal Court will hold a meeting starting at 5:30 p.m. at 2950 Washington St. in downtown Burlington. The meeting will be held in the fiscal courtroom on the first floor of the Boone County Administration Building. The meeting and agenda are also available to view at boonecountyky.org.
Florence City Council will hold a business meeting starting at 6 p.m. at 8100 Ewing Boulevard in Florence. View the agenda, and also find minutes from previous meetings at florence-ky.gov.
Walton City Council will hold a meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the Walton Senior Center, located at 44 N. Main St. in Walton. The meeting is available by Zoom. View the agenda and previous meeting videos at cityofwalton.org.
Walton Verona Independent School District has canceled a special called board meeting for July 12. The meeting will be rescheduled for a later date, according to the school district.
Thursday, July 14:
Boone County School District will hold a regular Board of Education meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the Ralph Rush Professional Development Center, located at 99 Center St. The meeting can be viewed on the district’s YouTube channel, and the agenda is available at boone.k12.ky.us.
