Kentucky Department of Transportation and utility crews will be closing some lanes and at least one ramp of Interstates 71 and 75 in Boone County this week.

Each night this week, from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., the entrance ramp from eastbound U.S. 42 to northbound I-71/75 will be closed. The ramp will reopen by 5 a.m. the following morning, according to KYTC.

Travel will be reduced to three lanes on I-71/75 between the Richwood Road and Mt. Zion Road interchanges. The far left lane will be closed, lane widths will be smaller and only trucks are allowed to enter the left lane.

Crews will also be working at Pleasant Valley Road/ KY State road 237 between the roundabout and Oakbrook Drive, KYTC reported. Crews will be present from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, until Saturday, June 25, weather permitting. At least one lane of traffic each way will be open during construction.
