A body was recovered on the Ohio River shoreline on Friday evening in Boone County, according to a press release from authorities.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the 6500 block of River Road in Hebron around 6:14 p.m. on Friday, April 22.
According to a statement from the sheriff’s office, the body floated ashore. The Boone County Coroner has been asked to perform an autopsy.
Authorities are not releasing the person’s identity “until proper notifications have been made.”
