Kerry Chevrolet in Alexandria part of the Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Assn. (GCADA) will present four state-of-the-art CPR training manikins to the Alexandria Fire Department.
Ninety-three members of GCADA created a CPR Manikin Donation Program in 2013 to provide civic, non-profit and public service organizations like community centers, fire departments, hospitals, police departments and schools with training aidsto help educate community members in lifesaving CPR / AED procedures for infants, children and adults.
The donation forwards the GCADA’s ongoing CPR / AED awareness campaign.
GCADA members have donated more than $42,000 in training manikins to more than 46 Greater Cincinnati organizations through the program.
Organizations are invited to apply for manikin donations by visiting www.GCADA.net/CPR.
Nancy DeCastro, Chairwoman for Kentucky Auto Dealers Assn. (KADA), Charlie Howard, Executive Vice President for Greater Cincinnati Automobile Dealers Assn. and Tim Sparks, President / Executive Manager for Kerry Automotive Group will present the manikins to Lt. Dan Schmidt of the Alexandria, Ky. Fire Department and first responders on Wednesday, April 13 at 10:00 a.m. Kerry Chevrolet, 7500 Alexandria Pike.
