The Union City Commission will begin hosting monthly caucus meetings, in which commissioners and the public can more freely discuss community matters.
The caucus meeting is a non-voting session with a more open forum than other government meetings. Commissioners and the public may discuss local issues, hear presentations, and ask questions in an open format than that of a voting session. The first caucus was held March 22, with the next one scheduled for April 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the City Building, located at 1843 Bristow Dr.
Regular Commission Meetings, held the first Monday of the month, will focus on agenda items of business only.
