Erlanger seeking sponsors for Summer Sendoff festival

The City of Erlanger is looking for sponsors for its second year of the Summer Sendoff festival.

Last year marked the first Summer Sendoff event, with live music, food, drinks and fireworks. Mayor Jessica Fette said it’s a family-friendly final farewell to summer and a showcase of what the community has to offer.

For its second year, the event’s title sponsor is Arlinghaus Plumbing Heating Air Conditioning, and the city is looking for more sponsors in addition to vendors for the event. The Summer Sendoff festival is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 24 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Silverdale Park. Fette said the city is expecting around 5,000 people, and is hoping that sponsor and vendor support will allow the festival to become an annual tradition.

“The Summer Sendoff in Erlanger is a Friendship City Celebration for the entire family,” said Erlanger Mayor Jessica Fette. “The event showcases different food and drink trucks, multiple musical performances, Cincinnati Circus performances, activities for kids of all ages, craft and art vendors, fireworks, and so much more. This event is your family’s not-to-be missed last hurrah for the summer season.”
