A woman was found dead outside a Covington home on Saturday morning and now a man faces multiple charges.
Covington Police responded to the 600 block of Seventh Street in Mainstrasse Village at around 9:40 a.m. where the woman was found dead and bleeding from the head.
Witnesses on the scene told police that the woman was seen being dragged from an apartment building by a man who then fled the scene.
Police later identified the woman as Judy Bell, 59, of Covington.
They also later arrested Lee Scalf, 42, of Covington after interviewing him.

Scalf is being held at the Kenton County Detention Center on charges of tampering with physical evidence and abuse of a corpse.
He is scheduled to appear in court on Monday morning.
Police said that the case is still under investigation.
