Jessica Fette is the current mayor of Erlanger having first taken office in 2020. She assumed the role of mayor from Tyson Hermes, who now serves on the city council. Fette owns and runs The Hive, a restaurant on Erlanger Road. She is being challenged for the mayor’s seat this year by another council member and business owner, Diana Niceley.

“I am seeking re-election because I love Erlanger and I believe we have strong momentum that needs to continue,” Fette said.

Fette’s time in office has been characterized by several large infrastructure and parks projects, such as the 1000-acre Eons Adventure Park. Fette also pointed to what she called the city’s sound financial management under her leadership, including passing “balanced budgets that protect essential services without creating new debt,” as well as consistently lowering property tax rates.

“I will continue working to reduce the tax burden on residents by advancing economic development and redevelopment opportunities that bring in additional payroll tax revenue,” Fette said. “At the same time, we must continue investing in our park system, infrastructure and public safety to ensure Erlanger remains a strong, safe and thriving community.”

Fette said she hoped to “keep Erlanger moving forward” if reelected.
