Jebadiah “Jeb” Holbrook is one of eight candidates running for a spot on the Fort Mitchell City Council. There are seven seats on the council.

Holbrook moved to the city when he was two, has spent most of his life in Fort Mitchell, and is currently raising a family there. He has a bachelor’s degree in history from Boston University and a law degree from NKU’s Chase College of Law. He currently works as a real estate developer and landlord.

“I want to bring my experience and perspective back to public service,” Holbrook said. “I believe in working toward peace and prosperity.”

Holbrook did not point to any specific policy proposals he would pursue if elected. Instead, he said he would spend most of his time listening to the residents to figure out their needs.

“I want to hear directly from the people who live, work and raise their families here…,” said Holbrook. “I know that good government is about listening, working together and getting things done.”

“I believe Fort Mitchell’s future should be built around families, community, cooperation and opportunity,” Holbrook concluded. “I want our children to grow up in a community that is safe, prosperous and peaceful, and one that they will be proud to call home.”
