Boone County Commissioner Jesse Brewer announced that he will seek reelection.

Brewer, a Republican, assumed office in 2019 after being elected in 2018. Currently, he serves alongside Commissioners Chet Hand and Cathy Flaig on the Boone County Fiscal Court.

In his announcement, Brewer said that he has fulfilled important goals from his prior campaigns, such as voting to lower the county property tax rate, spearheading a broadband expansion project with Cincinnati Bell, and establishing Boone County’s Road Infrastructure Fund to speed up road repairs.

“When I ran for office, I promised to be a strong steward of taxpayer dollars, protect our values, and make Boone County an even better place to raise a family,” Brewer said in his announcement. “And together, we have delivered.”

If re-elected, Brewer said he plans to continue focusing on infrastructure and road improvements, push for greater taxpayer transparency and accountability, work to expand water access in underserved areas, and support law enforcement and first responders.

“I’m asking voters to send me back so we can continue the work we’ve started,” Brewer said. “I will always put Boone County families first.”

Brewer, a real estate investor and business owner, lives in Boone County with his family.
