The Kenton County Board of Elections released it’s final candidate list today only minutes after the filing deadline. Most notably, the number of candidates for a spot on the Covington Board of Commissioners exceeded the number necessary to trigger a primary.

Ballot position drawings for the Covington commissioners’ races will take place on Jan. 11 at 2 p.m. The primary election will take place on May 21, 2024.

Erlanger did not have enough candidates for a primary. The ballot draw for for those positions will be done before the General Election.
