We The People Kentucky, the group supporting “liberty candidates” in NKY, had a KREF complaint filed against them last week. LINK nky confirmed the complaint with the Kentucky Registry of Election Finance.

“WTPKY We The People Kentucky provides a forum where citizens can share research and opportunities that promote an organized effort for direct action, to defend and preserve liberty,” its website reads.

The investigation is ongoing, and there isn’t much more information at this time. They have been running social media ads on Facebook, but they are not registered with KREF. They will have time to respond to the complaint. The group did not respond to questions at the time of publishing.

The group supports House candidates Steve Doan (69th), Steve Rawlings (66th), Marianne Proctor (60th), and Mirna Eads (68th). They also support 24th Senate District candidate Jessica Neal.

Here is a comprehensive list of candidates they support:

Danny Whitacre – Kenton County Clerk
Anthony (Tony) Schmiade – Kenton County Commissioner
Steven Larson – Kenton County Jailer
Chet Hand – Boone County Commissioner
David Fischer – Campbell County Commissioner
Anna Zinkhon – Campbell County Judge Executive
William “Billy” Fuller – Campbell County Jailer

The group also publishes “Swamp Reports” that list “RINO” (Republican In Name Only) politicians. They also detail their work doing “Republican Party Patriot Takeovers.”
