Frontier Airlines is restarting its seasonal nonstop flight from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport in November 2022.

With the new service to Phoenix, Frontier joins Southwest, American Airlines and Allegiant in offering service to Phoenix from CVG, though other airlines take travelers to the city’s main airport, Sky Harbor International, and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport. The return of service to Phoenix comes as other airlines have brought back nonstop services previously cut due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Nonstop service to Phoenix will launch with a fare starting at $99 on certain dates, and prices increase as customers choose options for seats, luggage, and in-flight services.

Frontier flights to Phoenix will run four times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays when it launches in November.

Daniel Shurz, Frontier Airlines’ vice president of commercial flight, said the service “will make it convenient and affordable to trade the Midwest weather for some sunshine this winter.”

Candace McGraw, chief executive officer of CVG, noted Phoenix is “one of the top 20 destinations from CVG in the winter months to travel.”
