Kentucky Symphony Orchestra to play free shows in Covington, Fort Thomas

The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra is playing two shows highlighting the work of German-born classical musician Georg Handel in August.

Both concerts are free and open to the public and will feature musical performances and firework accompaniments by Rozzi’s Fireworks.

The first show will take place at the band shell in Devou Park in Covington on Aug. 5, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The second will occur at Tower Park in Fort Thomas on Aug. 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Although the concert is free, attendees are encouraged to bring $5 donations to benefit the orchestra.
