BLINK is inviting local artists to submit ideas for short-term projects to supplement the lights and art festival scheduled for October.
The ArtsWave Fall 2022 Mini-Grant Program offers support for local artists and organizations, and applications are now open. Applicants should know whether they’ve been chosen by Aug. 26.
Artists of all disciplines living in the Greater Cincinnati region can apply for up to $2,500 per project or 50 percent of the project’s budget. Twenty-five to 35 grants are expected to be made through the process. The average grant will range from $1,000 to $1,500.
A Zoom Q&A session is scheduled for July 26 at noon.
Winning projects are selected based on specific eligibility guidelines, such as innovation, artistic nature and relation to BLINK’s theme of “play.” Winning projects will advance ArtsWave’s Blueprint for Collective Actions, a 10-year framework for the organization’s community investments and strategic initiatives.
Applicants can find eligibility guidelines, program requirements and application instructions for the ArtsWave Fall 2022 Mini-Grants at artswave.org/apply.
