The Sunday Morning Club’s annual community Christmas Dinner will return to the Northern Kentucky Convention Center on Christmas Day. This will be the 38th iteration of the event.

“This dinner has always been about community and about making sure every person feels seen, welcomed, and cared for on Christmas Day,” said Chuck McHale of McHale’s Events and Catering, which has historically provided food for the event. “It’s an honor to help carry forward a tradition that brings so many people together, and to serve alongside volunteers, sponsors and families who believe in lifting one another up. This event shows the very best of Northern Kentucky.”

This year’s event will be dedicated to Ron “Santa” Halderman, who died July 6, 2025, and Pat Crowley, who died Dec. 28, 2024. Both were heavily involved in the event in years’ past.

The event will feature a free meal and gifts for all attendees, toys for the kids, and special appearances from Santa, Frosty the Snowman and Rudolph. A limited number of bicycles will also be given away to kids aged between 5 and 12. The bikes were donated by several Northern Kentucky Masonic Lodges.

Volunteers are still needed. Community members can sign up at https://signup.com/go/QKVwxbp or contact Lynn Haney at 859-240-5603 or HaneyL@fuse.net.
