Greater Cincinnati firefighters are gearing up for an epic culinary showdown at Braxton Brewing’s chili cookoff.

Braxton Brewing Co. will host a firefighter chili cook-off this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. across all of its locations.

Fire departments from Covington, Union, Norwood and Fort Mitchell will compete for bragging rights and a custom trophy. Each Braxton taproom will host its local department: Covington at Braxton Covington, Union at Braxton Union, Norwood at Factory 52, and Fort Mitchell at The Barrel House.

Customers can sample each team’s chili, cast votes, and help select the winner at each taproom.

Skyline Chili will also serve 3-Ways and Cheese Coneys at all Braxton locations. Covington-based Farmer Nate’s Hot Sauce and Dude, Seriously Hot Sauce will offer samples of their hot sauces.

Braxton will donate $1 for every pint sold during the event, plus an additional $500 to each participating fire department.
