Northern Kentucky residents will soon have the chance to solve a murder mystery at the Carnegie Hall event venue in Newport.

Dubbed the Murder Mystery “Deadly Delight,” the Oct. 23 event will offer “an evening of suspense and intrigue, creating a thrilling experience as you work to solve a deadly crime,” according to DelightMore, the catering company organizing the event. “Put on your detective hat and enjoy an exciting night filled with clues, suspects and surprises.”

The event is a call back to Newport’s vice-laden past and will feature a multi-course meal from DelightMore’s Executive Chef Mallory Hemer, who will be pulling on Italian culinary influences dating back to the 1920s.

“DelightMore really wanted to find a way to highlight Newport’s rich history,” DelightMore’s Sales and Design Manager Sara Abdon said. “We felt that hosting an event at our new venue, Carnegie Hall, would be an ideal location and starting point to really kick off this series, have some fun and maybe learn something new.”

Tickets are about $92 each, including fees and taxes. Learn more and purchase tickets at the event’s EventBrite page.
