Bellevue’s annual fall fest is back, and the city is seeking volunteers to help with kids’ activities.
The fall fest is Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Bellevue Beach Park. Shifts are two hours, and volunteers can pick from these spots:
S’mores station: Help kids and adults roast s’mores with fun ingredient options.
Haunted playground: Dress up in a fun, not-too-scary costume (witches, dragons, unicorns, skeletons, Frankenstein, etc.) and help bring the decorated playground to life. DJ Alex Thompson will be there with fog machines and spooky sounds to set the mood for kids ages 3–10.
Hayride line: Keep the line moving, help kids safely on and off the trailer, and work with the police chief to make sure everything runs smoothly.
Pumpkin patch: The city will have 300 mini pumpkins. Volunteers will help kids pick one out and make sure each child leaves with a pumpkin.
