Whether you’re a mountain biker or a hiker, the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance is your gateway to adventure on two feet – or two wheels.
The alliance, known as CORA, is a nonprofit that maintains 115 miles of multiuse natural surface trails for mountain bikers, hikers and trail runners in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.
CORA organizes regular trail days, during which volunteers can participate in building and maintaining these trails. Information about upcoming projects and events is available on its website’s calendar at coratrails.org/calendar.
CORA trails in Northern Kentucky
Devou Park: CORA describes Devou as “home to the region’s longest climbs and fastest descents.” It also has many pump-flow trails, jumps and berms. There are 12 miles of trails in all.
Devou Park is at 1201 Park Drive, Covington.

England Idlewild: England Idlewild has 12 miles of multipurpose trails for hiking, biking, trail running, dog walking and other activities. Mountain bikers can enjoy a wide variety of terrain, from smoother beginner trails to expert single-track. There’s also a pump track and bike park.
England Idlewild is at 5550 Idlewild Road, Burlington.

Tower Park: CORA describes the trails here as “tough climbs followed by tough descents on the tallest accents in the area.” The trails feature some gravel roads that remain open year-round for those wishing to partake in hill-repeat workouts. The trails total four miles.
CORA signed a memorandum of understanding with Fort Thomas in 2016 to assist in maintaining and developing the trail system at the park.
Tower Park is at 900 S Ft Thomas Ave., Fort Thomas.

CORA is also advising on the mountain bike trail network at the new 1,000-acre Eons Adventure Park in Erlanger.
