Looking for a place to volunteer this holiday season? Why not head over to the Brighton Center?
The Brighton Center is a large nonprofit organization in Campbell County that provides a variety of wrap-around services to families who qualify. Throughout the holiday season, the center holds donation drives, raises money and offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for families.
Last year, the center’s holiday drives had help from about 290 volunteers and served nearly 900 families, said Community Resource Center Director Eric Owsley
Most of the Brighton Center’s volunteer opportunities occur the week before Christmas, but “we are always looking for volunteers throughout the entire year,” Owsley said.
