HGTV’s House Hunters made a stop in Northern Kentucky.

The episode “Searching for Historic in Kentucky” aired Thursday night on the HGTV channel.

In the episode, the couple, who had a budget of $400,000, looked at a few homes across NKY. They checked out a historic home in Fort Thomas, a new build in Independence, and a 1960s ranch in Cold Spring.

The couple disagreed on whether historic charm or modern convenience was more important. Ultimately, they chose the Fort Thomas property, which they purchased for $280,000.

Each episode of this long-running series takes viewers behind the scenes as individuals, couples and families search for their perfect home. A real estate agent shows the buyers three properties, and they eventually end up with one.
