Pendery Park opened its new ADA-accessible playground, which replaced the 30-year-old playset.
The new playground offers equipment that challenges and provides play opportunities for children of all abilities, ages 5 to 12.
The Campbell County Fiscal Court voted last October to accept a proposal from Midstates Recreation for $190,874. The cost of the playground was included in the fiscal year 2024 budget.
