Want to climb aboard the Campbell County Public Library’s Book Bus? You’ll have plenty of chances this summer.
The book bus will stop at Campbell County parks every Wednesday at 10 a.m. this June and July. Families can bring their own blankets and chairs for seating. Climb aboard the book bus and pick out a free book to keep.
The first event is “Popsicles with Puppies & Duckies” on June 5. Head to Bellevue Beach Park for the kick-off event of the book bus summer parks tour. Enjoy a frozen treat and meet pups and ducks. Dayton, Kentucky’s K-9 recruit, Cooper, will be there, along with Koda the therapy dog and rescue ducks from Longbottom Bird Ranch.
