It’s time to bust out the futons, buy extra food, and clean the house to prepare for relatives to visit during the holiday season.

And while extra time with the family is always a good thing, let’s be honest:

We all need a break sometimes.

Here are some things to do to get out of the house that’ll keep your kids and adult relatives busy:

A trampoline park is a great way for your kids to have fun and get some energy out at the same time. Parents can join or watch from afar. Beyond the typical trampolines, Defy Florence has extreme dodgeball, battle beams, an area for very young kids, a ninja course, and lots of other ways to wear those kids out. Single passes are $25.99 per person for 90 minutes.

Behringer Crawford Museum is great for kids and adults, but it can be a great outing when you need to leave the kids at home.
