Popular Cincinnati arts show BLINK will be returning for its third iteration in 2024, and while last year’s festival crossed the river into NKY, it is unclear if that’s happening again.
During a press conference with BLINK organizers Tuesday morning, officials announced the festival of lights is returning to the Cincinnati area Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 17-20.
Locations, however, are not set in stone.
Organizers say the only participating location they know for certain is Cincinnati Music Hall in Over-the-Rhine.
Those interested in participating in BLINK 2024 can fill out a form pitching their property as a possible exhibit.
BLINK 2022 stretched from Over-the-Rhine through parts of Covington for four days with light-focused art exhibits plus food vendors, drone shows and more.
Last year’s fest had some complications with changes in leadership among the event’s organizers, namely Brave Berlin, one of the co-founders who were considered the creative force behind the project. The design agency announced on Facebook in July of 2022 that they were cutting ties with the project over issues with fellow BLINK partners the Cincinnati Regional Chamber.
