“Meet me in the pouring rain.”

Swifties didn’t let a few raindrops stop them from showing out to Bellevue’s Taylor Swift Avenue sign dedication Thursday evening.

The city designated Leah Roberts, Bethany Parker and Kristen Hall as Bellevue’s “Swifitest Residents,” and they won a pink Taylor Swift Avenue sign.

The fans addressed the crowd telling them their favorite Taylor Swift song and why. Watch here:

The celebrations come ahead of Swift visiting the region for her concerts at Paycor Stadium on Friday, June 30, and Saturday, July 1.

Bellevue City Administrator Frank Warnock read a city proclamation during the dedication and thanked the “Mastermind” behind the idea, Bellevue Marketing and Communications Director Melissa Morandi.

“We’re trying to bring some fans and some people to Bellevue to spend their money and enjoy our restaurants and taverns, our bars and our stores,” Warnock said.

The proclamation read that Taylor Swift Avenue would remain until July 2.

“The city of Bellevue is trying to be creative, have a little bit of fun, and bring Taylor Swift fans and their families to visit our great city,” Warnock read from the proclamation.
