It is officially Pride Month, and local LGBTQ+ organization NKY Pride is kicking off the month with a weekend’s worth of celebrations.
Thursday, June 1
After work, you can head over to Braxton Brewing for a rooftop drag show emceed by Molly Mormen. Taste Braxton’s newest brew, the Watermelon Raddler, and party the night away. 6-11 p.m. at Braxton Brewing in Covington
Friday, June 2
The Queers with Gears 2023 – Ride for ALL pride bike ride will start at Roebling Books in Covington and will end at Darkness Brewing in Bellevue, where riders can join in on Bellevue’s First Friday block party. 5:30 p.m. meet at Roebling Books in Covington 6 p.m. ride leaves 7 p.m. ride arrives at Darkness Brewing
Saturday, June 3
Get your local pride merch at the NKY Pride Pop Up Shop on Saturday. 11 a.m.-2 p.m. NKY Pride Center at 230 W. Pike St. in Covington
Sunday, June 4
NKY Pride Festival 2023 will take over Goebel Park Sunday afternoon with plenty to eat, drink and celebrate. 12-5 p.m. at Goebel Park in Covington
The NKY Pride Parade will celebrate its way through the streets of Covington with floats, music, performances and more. 1-2 p.m., find the parade route here.
Head over to Hotel Covington for an afterparty at Coppin’s where there will be a DJ, a drag show and plenty of drinks. 5-9 p.m. at Coppin’s in Covington.
