Two popular local events will round out the month of May in the city of Ludlow.
This Saturday is the yearly citywide yard sale.
Permits are not required, so dig out your attic or over-filled closets and schmooze with neighbors while making some cash. The yard sale is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On May 29, the Memorial Day parade will travel through Ludlow starting at 10:30 AM. The honoring of veterans begins with a laying of the wreath at the Bromley Veterans’ Memorial on the corner of Steve Tanner Lane and Shelby Street.
From there, the parade travels east on Oak Street and through the city. It concludes at the Ludlow Veterans’ Memorial in Ludlow Memorial Park, 600 Elm Street. Refreshments will be offered at the Ludlow Vets Hall at 830 Elm Street post-parade.
