Kenton County residents will soon be able to borrow library books from The Roost coffee house in Latonia without a library card.

“The partnership allows the library to put books in more hands and reach new audiences,” according to a recent press release from the Kenton County Library.

The project will begin with celebratory event on March 25 at 10 a.m. at The Roost in Latonia. The event will highlight the library’s partnership and will also feature a Wizard of Oz-themed scavenger hunt among 10 local businesses.

Participants are eligible to win a gift card to The Roost and a voucher for a free coffee mug at Covington Makerspace. The event is open to all age groups.
