U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie will join city officials for a ribbon cutting scheduled for 6 p.m. The celebration will continue with a concert from 7 to 10 p.m. featuring the band Eight Daze Sober.

Food booths and kids games round out the family event. Food and drink vendors include West Sixth Brewery, Poseidon Pizza, KP’s Sweets & Eats, Harley’s Hot Dogs and the Curb Side Sweet Shop.

The city of Cold Spring has had a lot to celebrate this year with a new amphitheater, new police station and now a new community center.
