It’s no secret that the Commonwealth is home to world-famous bourbon, with multiple distilleries located in Northern Kentucky. On Tuesday, June 14, meetNKY, in conjunction with The B-Line, Northern Kentucky’s Bourbon experience, is inviting bourbon fans from across the Tri-State to celebrate National Bourbon Day with a variety of events and specials at participating B-Line stops.
First introduced in early 2018, The B-Line was created to help capture the bourbon-curious audience of people who drive down I-75 or fly into CVG annually to visit Kentucky’s Bourbon Trail. It’s comprised of five craft distilleries as well as eight bourbon bars that have all been named “The Best Bourbon Bars in America” by The Bourbon Review, and six bourbon-centric restaurants. All 19 stops are located throughout Covington, Newport, Independence, Sparta, Augusta, and Maysville.
“National Bourbon Day was created to recognize the high standards put in place for distilling bourbon and to celebrate ‘America’s Native Spirit’,” meetNKY President and CEO, Julie Kirkpatrick said. “We hope people across the Tri-State will join us in lifting a glass (or two) to cel, ebrate the many great bars, restaurants, and distilleries that make The B-Line a global destination.”
The specials and events scheduled to celebrate National Bourbon Day on June 14 include:

Boone County Distilling is releasing its limited B-Line Barrel Pick, available in limited quantities at the distillery and at select locations across The B-Line. Address: 10601 Toebben Dr., Independence

“We invited the bars and restaurants along The B-Line out to the distillery in April to hand-select this 7-year cask strength bourbon only available at B-Line bars and restaurants, not at the distillery,” Jack Wells, Co-Owner, Boone Country Distilling said. “What better way to celebrate National Bourbon Day than to release this barrel pick for bourbon enthusiasts to enjoy, in partnership with these great NKY bars and restaurants?”
