Mark your calendars for one of Northern Kentucky’s most meaningful (and delicious) events of the season—Children’s Law Center’s Boots, Bourbon, & Biscuits Brunch returns on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Receptions Event Center in Erlanger.

This annual celebration brings the community together for music, dancing, and a one-of-a-kind brunch spread—but the heart of the event is its mission: raising critical funds to provide free legal services for children and young adults in Kentucky and Ohio.

Every ticket purchased helps CLC stand up for kids navigating the toughest moments of their lives—whether they’re struggling in school, facing unsafe living situations, or involved in the justice system. “The kids we serve need us now more than ever,” says Sasha Naiman, Executive Director of CLC. “Boots, Bourbon, & Biscuits isn’t just a brunch—it’s a way for our community to step up and invest in brighter futures for children.”

The 2025 program is packed with highlights, including:

  • Keynote Speaker: Kentucky Supreme Court Justice Michelle Keller, long recognized for her dedication to justice and advocacy for families.
  • Live Entertainment: Heather Roush and the HeartStrings will keep the energy high, along with line dancing instruction from Arthur Murray Dance Studios for those ready to hit the floor.
  • Food & Fun: A full brunch with a biscuit bar, plus cocktails, mocktails, and a silent auction featuring unique finds. Get a VIP ticket to get access to the VIP Experience, sponsored by Wiseguy Lounge!
  • Emcee: Chloe Marklay of Local 12 will host the afternoon.

Since 1989, CLC has been fighting to ensure young people have the safe, healthy futures they deserve. The work is powered by community support—and Boots, Bourbon, & Biscuits is one of the best ways to join that effort.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now at childrenslawky.org/boots-bourbon-and-biscuits.

This year’s event is made possible thanks to generous partners, including Gold Sponsors Taft Law and Frost Brown Todd, alongside another 20+ sponsors.

So whether you come for the biscuits, the bourbon, or the chance to line dance—it all adds up to a powerful impact for kids who need a voice and an advocate.
