Attendees at the 2024 CORA Bike & Trail Expo united in their love for the outdoors and community. MadTree Brewing is preparing for the 2025 Bike & Trail Expo on Saturday, March 8th, from 10 AM to 3 PM—free and family-friendly.

On any given weekend, the trails of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky hum with activity—mountain bikers carving through wooded singletrack, hikers exploring nature preserves, and families discovering new outdoor adventures. But before these trails became beloved community assets, they were just ideas—visions brought to life by dedicated volunteers and passionate outdoor advocates.

That passion takes center stage at the third annual Bike & Trail Expo, hosted by the Cincinnati Off-Road Alliance (CORA) and MadTree Brewing on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 10 AM to 3 PM at MadTree Brewing. The event isn’t just a marketplace for outdoor gear—it’s a rallying point for trail users, builders, and organizations working to make the region a premier destination for cycling, hiking, and adventure.

With nearly 70 exhibitors expected, the Expo offers attendees a chance to browse the latest cycling and hiking gear, outdoor equipment, and adventure-ready vans and campers. But beyond the booths and gear, the event fosters a sense of community among those who share a love for the outdoors.

“The Expo is where people come to connect,” said Doug Hart, CORA Board Member and Bike & Trail Expo Director. “It’s about celebrating the trails we have, supporting the people who build them, and inspiring the next wave of outdoor enthusiasts.”

The Expo is free to attend and family-friendly, with additional parking available thanks to the generous support of Crossroads Church in Oakley, who has offered their parking lot for overflow.

New to the expo this year is their new Adventure Vehicle section. This is a great addition to the amazing list of exhibitors they have represented throughout the day.

MadTree Brewing, known for its commitment to sustainability and outdoor recreation, is a natural partner for the event. “MadTree has been a champion for environmental advocacy and outdoor nonprofits,” Hart added. “Their support helped CORA elevate trail awareness and strengthen our shared-use trail network across Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.”

CORA’s work extends beyond event day. The nonprofit has been instrumental expanding access to natural-surface trails across the region, ensuring that mountain
bikers, hikers, and runners have well-maintained paths to explore.

One of CORA’s exciting ongoing projects in Kentucky is at Sargeant Park in Dayton, KY, where a new multi-use trail is set to debut this spring. This trail is being developed in collaboration with the City of Dayton and Groundwork Ohio River Valley, marking a significant step forward in expanding outdoor recreation in the area.

Looking ahead, CORA has ambitious plans, including the OneNKY Connector Trails, linking seven cities, and the EONS Park trail system in Erlanger, which will introduce over 20 miles of world-class trails.

CORA is thrilled to bring the community together through trails, and the Bike & Trail Expo provides the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts. This event is not only a chance to share inspiration and knowledge about trails but also an exciting opportunity to meet new people and inspire those eager to explore
the outdoors.

Whether you’re a seasoned trail user or just discovering Cincinnati’s outdoor scene, the Bike & Trail Expo is an event you won’t want to miss. Expect interactive exhibits, expert insights, and a welcoming community of fellow adventurers.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, March 8, at MadTree Brewing, and be part of the movement that’s shaping the future of outdoor recreation in the region.
