On September 14, Children’s Law Center will host its third annual Boots, Bourbon, and Biscuits Brunch, presented by Johnson Investment Counsel, at Receptions Event Centers in Erlanger. The event will celebrate CLC’s 35 years of service to young people in the community.

Join CLC from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a fun and impactful way to welcome fall. Experience an impactful program, a biscuit bar, live music from Heather Roush and the Heartstrings, emcee Big Dave from B105, a Tito’s Bloody Mary bar, and the option for a Wiseguy Lounge-sponsored VIP bar featuring a curated menu of cocktails and mocktails. Arthur Murray Dance Studios will also be there to teach attendees how to do a line dance. Be sure to don your best dancing boots—you might just win the Best Boots Contest!

Besides the food and dance, expect to hear from keynote speaker Rayshun Holt, Program Director at Cincinnati Works. Plus, view and bid on the 30+ auction items that have been collected for the silent auction: including a coveted Taylor Swift signed collage, 10-year Old Rip Van Winkle, and Bengals tickets.

This year’s Boots, Bourbon, & Biscuits brunch is especially exciting, as CLC celebrates its 35th anniversary. CLC was founded in 1989 to advocate for the rights of vulnerable youth. The non-profit provides legal assistance for children—from birth to 25 years old—in the child welfare, education, and justice systems. CLC offers these services at no cost to children or their families. All the money raised at Boots, Bourbon, & Biscuits will support CLC’s services to kids and young adults in Kentucky and Ohio. In 2023, the event raised more than $48,500 to support kids in Kentucky and Ohio—and they’re hoping to raise even more this year. Tickets are $75 for general admission and $65 for young professionals 35 and under. Attendees can choose to access the Wiseguy VIP Experience for an extra $25.
