The Taylor Mill Commission has officially appointed Devon Golden as the city’s new administrative officer.
At Wednesday’s meeting, Taylor Mill commissioners presented Devon Golden as the official chief administrative officer for the city through Municipal Order 180.
“I’m very excited about being a part of the Taylor Mill team,” Golden said. “A close-knit community that it’s very clear from both the commission and the staff, really cares about its community.”

Former administrative officer Brian Haney retired after eight years of service with the city.
Previously Georgetown’s chief administrative officer for over three years, Golden’s first day with Taylor Mill was on Aug. 10.
“Welcome Devon, looking forward to working with you,” said City Attorney Jake Gatlin.
