A previously announced rebrand of the Radisson Hotel in Covington has been walked back by the firm fielding the acquisition of the iconic hotel.
GenX Capital Partners, the Miami-based firm that’s managing the acquisition, its branding and financing for a yet-to-be announced buyer, informed LINK nky via email this week that the rebranding of the hotel has changed direction.
Last week, GenX had announced that investors were eyeing the hotel for a possible purchase, renovation and rebrand. At the time, GenX stated the plan was turn the hotel into a relatively new line of hotels from Hard Rock called REVERB. The REVERB brand currently has two locations in Atlanta and Hamburg, Germany, with more under construction in the United States and internationally.
