Grassroots & Vine, located at 1011 S. Ft. Thomas Ave., was recently purchased by two local restaurateurs.
The restaurant was listed for sale in February after founder Barb Thomas announced she would be taking a step back. The restaurant is known for its food, retail wine and cheese shop, full-service bar and event venue.
On May 13, Grassroots & Vine’s Facebook account announced that the restaurant had been purchased by Challis and Lauren Hodge of Taste Food & Wine, a Ludlow-based restaurant group. The Hodges also own and operate Taste on Elm and Conserva in Ludlow.
