Two Northern Kentucky Walmarts will undergo remodeling as part of the retailer’s nationwide effort to transform 650 of its stores.
The Alexandria Walmart, located at 6711 Alexandria Pike, and the Florence Walmart, located at 7625 Doering Drive, were both selected for remodeling.
“Our stores often serve as the heartbeat of the communities we operate in, and these remodels are a testament to our dedication to enhancing that role,” Walmart Senior VP for the North Business Unit Glenda Fleming Willis said in a news release. “By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all.”
The remodeling includes adding newer signage, expanding internal departments, and expanding online pickup and delivery infrastructure, and adding wider aisles, a private screening room and privacy checkout areas to the in-store pharmacy.
