Blue North Executive Director Dave Knox was named the Kentucky Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame’s Mentor of the Year.
Knox joined Blue North, an NKY entrepreneurial resource and advocacy organization, in June 2022.
Knox and the other inductees were honored with a reception and dinner at the Central Bank Center in Lexington on Nov. 12.
“Small businesses are the backbone of the economy. Entrepreneurs generate jobs, create diverse neighborhoods and are vital to prosperous cities,” Paul Costel, region manager for JPMorgan Chase in Kentucky, the event’s presenting sponsor, said in a press release. “It’s an honor to celebrate the innovation and drive behind these successful leaders. It’s imperative they have our support in order to unlock the full potential of the Bluegrass state.”
The Kentucky Entrepreneurial Hall of Fame’s mission is to honor some of the Bluegrass State’s most successful entrepreneurs and business owners.
