The Covington Business Council will honor the founder of Covington-based development company Orleans Development, Tony Kreutzjans, at its annual dinner.
Kreutzjans will receive the council’s Founder Award, which honors lifetime achievement in economic development. He formed Orleans Development in 2005 after working in construction at Ashley Builders Group for about eight years.
Over the past nineteen years, the company has developed nearly 250 residential units and about 80,000 square feet of commercial space, according to the Covington Business Council.
“The criterion for the Founder Award is fairly straightforward,” said Covington Business Council director Executive Director Pat Frew in a press release. “It is presented to the person who best demonstrates meritorious service in improving the economic well-being of Covington. Tony is more than deserving of this award for all his hard work helping to grow Covington’s commercial and residential spaces.”
