A bank with three brick-and-mortar locations in Northern Kentucky was purchased for $330 million, according to a press release.

Heartland BancCorp, a regional bank based out of Whitehall, Ohio, was purchased by German American BancCorp out of Jasper, Indiana. Currently, Heartland Bank has three Northern Kentucky locations – Fort Mitchell, Fort Thomas and Florence.

The release states that Heartland’s subsidiary bank, Heartland Bank, will be merged into German American’s subsidiary bank, German American Bank. The transaction is expected to complete by 2025.

Heartland Chairman and CEO G. Scott McComb will join German American Bank’s board of directors.
