New Riff Distilling wins 10 medals at San Francisco World Spirits competition

Newport-based New Riff Distilling racked up 10 medals at the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits competition.

During the competition, blind tastings are conducted by a curated list of judges. The 2024 awards were announced on Tuesday, April 30.

New Riff Distilling’s 6-Year-Old Malted Rye Whiskey received a Double Gold award — the highest ranking. 

The spirits that received gold medals include New Riff Kentucky Sour Mash Single Malt Whiskey; New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey; New Riff Single Barrel Rye Whiskey; New Riff Balboa Rye Whiskey; New Riff Bottled in Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey; and New Riff 8-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. 

Spirits receiving silver medals include New Riff Single Barrel Bourbon, New Riff Nocino Liqueur and New Riff Winter Whiskey.
