Performance Lexus of Northern Kentucky has opened the doors to its new 52,000-square-foot dealership.
Due to impending construction from the Brent Spence Bridge Corridor project, the luxury dealership moved to 709 Wright’s Summit Parkway in Fort Wright from its previous location at 633 W. 3rd St. in Covington.
The dealership dropped its previous moniker, Performance Lexus RiverCenter, in favor of Performance Lexus of Northern Kentucky.
The dealership is part of the Performance Automotive Group, which is based in West Chester, Ohio. It is one of the largest automotive dealership networks in the Greater Cincinnati area.
“We challenged our team to create a level of experience for our customers that lets them actually look forward to visiting, and have they ever delivered,” Performance Automotive Network VP Shane Dever said in a press release. “Our customers are passionate about their vehicles, but they also lead busy lives and we need to welcome them in the context of their other obligations.”
The dealership includes amenities such as an outdoor roof deck, a two-story showroom, a refreshment area, a service department with 33 service lifts, additional guest parking, a children’s play area and a nursing suite for new moms.
“Our guests aren’t only Lexus drivers, they’re managing careers and households and none of that stops just because they have a scheduled service,” General Manager Kelly Halpin said in a press release. “This dealership is designed to support them however they need to use their time.”
Going forward, the current Lexus RiverCenter location in Covington will operated as the Performance Used Car Superstore.
