Small business owners, operations, human resources professionals and C-suite leaders from around Northern Kentucky are set to discuss strategies for tackling workforce issues this week.
The Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce is hosting its sixth annual Talent Strategies Symposium on Wednesday, March 13, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Erlanger Branch of the Kenton County Public Library.
The half-day event will feature presenters leading roundtable discussions on “Total Talent Transformation.” Lightcast VP of Consulting Dustin Lester will provide a national and regional data-driven perspective to the firm’s white paper “The Demographic Drought.”
“The Total Talent Transformation idea is to approach each hire individually, understanding that what I might desire from my employer in terms of compensation, benefits, perks, job title and responsibility will likely vary from another person hired,” NKY Chamber of Commerce VP of Talent Strategies Nancy Spivery said in a press release. “This year’s Symposium will explore the concept of developing an employee-centered talent attraction, engagement, and retention plan for each hire.”
