The Northern Kentucky Bar Association passed the torch to a new president, Robert McBride, with Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP, at its annual ceremony on Dec. 1. The event also served as a fundraising gala and silent auction, titled the Bubbles & Bubbly Gala and Silent Auction.

The event was attended by about 250 local judges, according to a press release from the bar association. Other lawyers honored at the event included Margo Grubbs with Grubbs & Landry, PLLC, who was honored as the Distinguished Lawyer of the Year, and Frank Warnock the city attorney of Bellevue, who won the Outstanding Volunteer of the Year Award.

“2023 President, Stephanie Dietz with Dietz Family Law, recapped her year and discussed the extraordinary growth within the [the bar association] and celebrated the upcoming move to the OneNKY building in 2025,” the press release stated. “Ms. Dietz highlighted the [the association’s] Board of Directors hard work to improve needs of the local bar, provide increased services to its membership; as well as volunteer and educational services to the public.”
