Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport travelers will now have access to an on-demand taxi service.

zTrip has officially launched at CVG. The company markets itself as a hybrid between traditional taxi and ride-hailing services. zTrip will operate out of the airport’s Ground Transport East wing of the main terminal and will be specifically marked with the company’s branding and logos.

In September, the Kenton County Airport Board approved an exclusive agreement for on-demand taxi services with zTrip.

Representatives from zTrip and CVG officials touted the service at a media event on Wednesday morning.

“We are pleased to welcome zTrip to provide on-demand taxi services for our travelers,” CVG CEO Candace McGraw said at the event. “This partnership will enhance the travel experience by providing another ground transportation option that is convenient and reliable.”

Amenities zTrip offers include 24/7 live customer service, access to licensed and insured drivers, and an option for customers to select their preferred driver. Payment options include cash and credit card.

One of zLift’s most prominent features is its elimination of surge pricing, a practice common with popular ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft. Surge pricing is a dynamic pricing strategy that enables an algorithm to raise or lower fares based on real-time supply and demand.

Additionally, zTrip will offer wheelchair-accessible vehicles to ensure each customer has access, regardless of their mobility needs.

To access zTrip, customers can download the company’s official app onto their iOS or Android device. Bookings can be done through the app or ztrip.com.

From now until December 31, zTrip customers can receive a $10 ride credit by downloading the app and using the promo code CVG.

Currently, zTrip operates out of 30 cities across the United States, including Louisville, Indianapolis, Pittsburgh, Little Rock and Albuquerque. The company is headquartered in Kansas City, MO.
