Walton property awarded Duke Energy Site Readiness grant

Duke Energy recently issued a $10,000 site readiness grant to a property on Dixie Highway in Walton, according to a recent press release. The grant will allow the site to be more easily developed by businesses interested in moving to the area, Walton Mayor Gabe Brown told LINK nky.

“The Duke Energy Site Readiness Program ensures our communities have the resources and support they need to spur future economic development,” said Amy Spiller, president of Duke Energy Ohio and Kentucky in the press release. “By collaborating with regional partners, we’re helping bring new jobs and capital investments to Ohio and Kentucky.”
