Fort Thomas’ annual outdoor festival celebrating the city’s merchants with music and family activities announced this year’s headliner today.

Merchants & Music will feature Sister Hazel, Tonic and Vertical Horizon for its 19th season on Sept. 23 at the Tower Park Amphitheater.

The free festival started in 2009 and has featured acts such as Bret Michaels, The Mighty Might Bosstones, Andrew McMahon, and Dustin Lynch.

“M&M is committed to having a large selection of local merchants to come and sell their products to those who attend the festival each year,” the festival website said. “We have also been committed to keeping it free of charge to attendees so everyone can come and enjoy the music while shopping from local merchant tents around the grounds.”
