Weary air travelers in search of food should fear not as CVG is adding another quick service option to their array of food offerings.
Sinkula, a local family franchisee, and CVG announced a partnership to bring Wendy’s to the airport. Sinkula operates a total of eleven Wendy’s restaurants in the Northern Kentucky & Greater Cincinnati region.
“This partnership with the Sinkula family-owned franchise brings a new option to CVG travelers,” said Candace McGraw, CEO of CVG. “We are pleased to expand concessions, giving travelers more options for a quick bite before their flight.”
The Wendy’s will be located at the food court on Concourse B, right next to other options such as Chic-Fil-A, Gold Star Chili, Max & Erma’s, Starbucks, Outback Steakhouse and Bruegger’s Bagels.
“At Wendy’s, we have been working diligently to find unique ways to grow brand partnerships in the airport space,” said Stephen Piacentini, VP of global restaurant development at Wendy’s. “This opportunity at CVG is a great example of how we have engaged with airport partners to understand their needs, and we’re excited that a local franchisee with a track record of outstanding operations will now serve Wendy’s fresh, high-quality food to consumers in the CVG Airport.”
Feeling a little hungry on the way to catch a morning flight?
Don’t worry, the new location will offer Wendy’s breakfast, complete with items such as the Breakfast Baconator, Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit, Cold Brew Coffee and Frosty-ccino.
